Postcards from Santa -New Quilting Event !

Postcards from Santa
Dec. 5-10th

You are invited to join us during our special event to start preparing for your Christmas projects and shopping!

Visit 4 participating shops, and purchase a fabric block (4x6") for $5.75.
Collect all 4 images!

Each block has a vintage image of an Old Fashion Santa, that was printed directly from antique postcards, on to 100% cotton fabric. You will also receive a copy for a free pattern for using all 4 blocks to create a 21" sq. project. Each shop will be using different fabrics to set theirs together, so it will be fun to see how each one will be unique.

Each shop is also collecting canned goods or non-perishable food items to donate to their local food pantries, to help give to those in need during the holidays. 2011 Blizzard

Wow,I guess by looking at these photos, you can see that the shop will be closed for the next day or two??? We shoveled a path to the front door, but the driveway is covered in drifts 3-5 ft high in some areas :( . We called for a snowplow, but got put on "the waiting list" .. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

We had to shovel a path,in order to get the front door to open, this morning, so we can let the dog outside. He was getting lost in the snow drifts!

Going on Vacation for 1 week !

Greetings ,
I know this is kind of a last minute update, but the shop ,Primitive
Stitches will be closed for 1 week, starting Tues. Jan. 11th , and will
re-open on Tuesday 18th. I hate to run out on everyone, but my husband is
leaving for a business trip to New Orleans, and I decided this would be
great to tag along with him. (a early anniversary gift) (I think we were
the only "crazy" people to get married Jan. 3oth!)(not exactly a June
wedding).
My mom offered to watch our daughters, so It was too good to pass up. I
just hope it is little warmer there, or at least no snow......

I appreciate you all being so understanding, if you know someone ,that
might not get this email, please pass the word onto them. I would hate for
someone to make the trip here, and I am gone.

Thanks so much, I try to scout out the area for any quilt shops down
there, and let you know what I find.

Keep Stitchin'
Melissa
